Mandate

  • Agribank, established under the Agricultural Bank of Namibia Act 5 of 2003, is mandated to provide financial services to agriculture and related sectors.
  • Section 6 of the Agricultural Bank of Namibia Act 5 of 2003 empowers Agribank to purchase, hire, or otherwise acquire property; sell; lease; let properties acquired; make investments, either on its own or in conjunction with other parties; engage under contract to supply such services as may be necessary to perform the functions of the Agribank; or appoint agents to insure itself against risks.
